Guess you learn the hard way. Power connections were not visable so how is a person to know if the adapter will work with the GPS. When I purchased a Nuvi 760 this item was shown as frequently purchased with it. Unfortunately it is not compatable and cost me to return as it was my error.
It was shipped quickly and it works. so I ordered another. Thanks Amazon What can I say. I lost my 12 volt power cord for my NUVI 350 (Left it in a rent car).
I just got long winded e-mails from them that didn't move me one step closer to getting a cable that would work with my Nuvi.It's hard to say which organization's customer service was worse, but I guess I'd have to go with Amazon.com, simply because that was my initial point of contact. I ordered the power cable from Amazon after it appeared as an accessory for the Garmin Nuvi I had previously ordered. It is so bad that it will probably keep me from ordering anything further from Amazon.com You have a HORRIBLE system. Unfortunately, the cable sent to me was not compatible with the model of Nuvi that I had. I first contacted Amazon.com and then ANTONLINE; but neither organization did anything to help with the problem.
Has a very durable cord, and seems to be very well manufactured. The device plugs very securly into the cigarette lighter in your vehicle.
This replacement cord works with no issues. I could not tell if the original GPS cord or the car outlet was giving me the power issue. After getting this replacement cord I know it was the original cord.
